With the clocks having gone back and the nights drawing in, lighting on the estate has become important, particularly in the evening. PRERA has carried out several inspections of the lighting over the past couple of months, reporting faulty lamps to the engineer responsible. Lamps 006, 013, 019, 021, 036, 049, 051, 053 and 055 have been reported, so far. In most cases they have now been repaired, but inspections are continuing to identify substandard repairs or new faulty lamps. Please let us know of any faults that you are aware of.
In the future, we hope that such lighting problems can be identified and the repairs post-inspected by the council, rather than by PRERA.
