Would you like to help Palace Road Estate feel more like a community with heart? We are looking for residents to volunteer as Block Champions.
This a communication role to help the spread of information around the estate.
We need people to:
- Let PRERA know if a resident has an idea or suggestion
- Add posters to block noticeboards
- Put flyers through letterboxes about 4 times per year
- Be the ‘admin’ on your block Whatsapp channel
- Be the person residents can ask about council or external services.
For example, if someone has a leak, you can share the council maintenance telephone number or email address.
Important! Block Champions will not be asked to speak to the council on the residents behalf. Your role will be purely sign-posting to relevant information. PRERA will provide info on what services you need to know about to answer most questions. And we can help you if anyone has a question you can’t answer!
